According to TV guide magazine, Eva Longoria Parker, has been declared as the sexiest woman on American TV. She is herself little stunned about her selection for her role of Gabrielle Solis which she is playing in Desperate Housewives episodes.

She stated that. It’s a funny thing, because “most of the last year she’s been playing a “frumpy” housewife”. She is amazed and did not expect that TV bosses will choose her for this character. “I think the timing for this is pretty funny actually, but also really great. No, no, no don’t get me wrong, its not that I do not like the series or anything like that. But, what I personally feel is that now the series is losing out on its charm. I mean when the series started the whole story about the four friends, who lived their life in the sexiest way was very attracting, but with time I have felt that they are not paying much of attention to its plot.

Though, I agree that they have tried their level best with this season of the series. This season the creators have surprised us with the flash-forwarding five years into the future in the lives of Susanne, Gabrielle, Bree, Lynette, and company. Now this surprise has definitely boosted the interest of viewers regarding the show, and that has also affected the TRP of the series.

But, will the creators be able to catch the interest of the viewers for five more years, is what is bothering me. Well, I don’t want to be negative about anything, but let’s see how this whole thing between Cherry and ABC turns out to be. But one thing is for sure, that this is a good amount of time for creating some more interesting stories about these housewives, before ultimately biding them goodbye.

Hey everyone just give it a thought. Just a few days back a prominent newspaper went on to report that Sarah Palin could be making an appearance in the final episode of the fifth season of Desperate Housewives. The newspaper which named noted Hollywood PR agent Hal Lifson as the source of the news, further went on to say that the series creator Mark Cherry was really keen to have the former vice-presidential candidate on the show. This, he reportedly said, would give a big boost to the ratings of the show. Well, here I tend to disagree with Mr. Lifson. Although I do not mean any offence to Ms Palin, but I feel that her appearance in the show will not make such a huge difference. I feel that the show is quite popular on its own and does not need any further assistance to increase its popularity. The news has however, not been confirmed either by Mark Cherry or by anyone else at ABC Network.

The show has been one of my favorites since its premiere in 2004. It is the story of a group of apparently kind hearted suburban women who live in the same neighborhood. The show looks into the dark secrets ranging from sex to adultery to suicide and even murder that are hidden behind their innocent exteriors. The show that is hugely popular among females in specific has proved to be an instant hit as it captured the imagination of its audience with its unusual storyline and unique plot. With an ever increasing audience base, it is no surprise that even Sarah Palin would like to make an appearance on the show. Already running in its fifth season, I sometimes feel amazed that the show still seems so fresh every time I see it.

Well, the above mentioned ‘must know’ represents some latest news about the series that every fan may be looking for. Three ‘Desperate Housewives’ celebrities are here, which I am gonna talk about.

First of all, let’s talk about Teri Hatcher. She loves to bake in her trailers. Once, while filming the episodes of fourth season, she baked a pie for her co-star Felicity Huffman. In the show, she portrays the ditzy and kind-hearted Susan Mayer, one of the five housewives. She recently shared her pie accident with the journalists to show how much of a multi-tasker she is. Yeah, of course…… she is man!

Next is the row is ‘Gale Harold’. He’s playing Teri Hatcher’s (Susan Mayer) boyfriend in ‘Desperate Housewives’. If you remember, he met an accident last week and got several injuries. Currently, he’s under observation and is improving to be back to work. He had swelling on his brain and his shoulder was also fractured. As of now, he’s recovering fast.

Here’s Marica Cross. The lady herself admits that she practices yoga in order to be healthy and sexy. She says that Yoga helps to keep her figure trim. In series, she plays Bree. She is a fan of yoga because it’s tough for her to loss her weight. Whenever she feels she’s putting on weight, she cuts out bread and also the carbohydrates from her diet.

As the season 5 opening is one month away, so I don’t know how to spend my time and how to wait for my favorite series. Turned on my laptop and started searching for some latest TV updates. And there I came across the snaps of lovely Eva Longoria looking prettier in the upcoming season of the Desperate Housewives. She played bitchy and petite housewife in the last season of the series but after the proverbial 5 year jump in this season, she has matured into a sassy mother of two. To keep up with her new role she has reportedly put on some weight.

Well, by the standards of Hollywood she is pleasingly plump. She also admitted in a recent interview that she is regularly binging on pasta and pizza.

She celebrated her first wedding anniversary with Basketball player Tony Parker this year. And now, she is looking forward to have a baby. She brushed the rumor of her pregnancy with a laugh. So does that mean that our speculations about her growing girth should finally rest here? It’s really some weight, that skinniest actress who was number 14 in FMH magazine’s annual 100 Sexiest Women poll, has put on. But who is complaining? Still she looks very hot and sexy!

Well, we all are aware that ‘Desperate Housewives‘ is coming back with its fifth season and the story has jumped five years ahead. So, leaving no chance for stupid mistakes, they guys have added four new comers to transform the four little kids of Lynette and Tom Scavo into the grown up teenagers. Joshua Moore is signed as Parker, the eldest son of Bill. Charles and Max Carver will play naughty twins Porter and Preston respectively. The youngest and only daughter Penny will be played by Kendall Applegate. The little daughter will be now eight-nine years old in the upcoming season. Great! I think at least this drama series’ makers do have sharp minds. And, at last after four long seasons, all the kids are grown up. Now, Lynette may have a sigh of relief when she is suffering from cancer and before her last stage, her kids are mature enough to handle the circumstances.

Which are your favorite characters out of these kids? My personal favorites are those naughty and troublesome twins, Porter and Preston. I still remember a funny scene of them after the fourth season finale when the story suddenly jumps five years ahead. A policewoman reaches at Lynette’s house and tells Tom that one of his kids has stolen a car for joyride, and guesses who that kid is? Not Porter, this is Preston this time. And you know what they are doing at that right moment? They have turned Scavo’s restaurant into Casino for their friends and are having party over there. Lynette tackles them and announces their punishment like she always does. Really, these twins remind me of two of my cousins. They were so naughty during their childhood. Now they have grown up and are studying in college, and I am sure, they are still busy with their pranks. In their childhood, whenever they visited our place, they created mess by moving furniture from its place and chairs turned turtle, water all over the porch and what not?

Yeah, I am talking about the poor chick who always anticipates love in the Desperate Housewives. So, finally in the fifth season, she is gonna get her new love, and it may be a stable love this time. Her new love is the new cast member added to the show, Neal McDonough. He will play a new white collar resident of the Wisteria lane and will enter in Edie’s life as her new boy friend. He is 42 years old actor and Edie won’t leave him too. I still remember the episode when she was continuously fabricating schemes to behold Chris for long. OH!! Unlucky Edie, she never got her true love.

On the third season, Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) was tricking around Mike, the amnesia patient. That was the funniest part of the show for me. Actually, Edie is the real desperate character on the show among other wives. She just holds the time during her presence and may be that’s why she is continuing appearing as a recurring role.

I was wondering after hearing the name of his would be, Neal Mc Donough. Who this buddy is?? He is the guy who appeared in an episode of Star Trek-First contact. He was also seen in Band of Brothers, Tin Man and The hitcher. Well, I haven’t seen him before so don’t know how he looks! Desperate Housewives is the show which I’m very fond of so now Neal will gain a nice place in my memory.
Hey! A few days back there were rumors that Nicollette is leaving desperate wives but thank God they were just rumors. I’d not be good to see the show without her. Today I am going to download her episodes from this site as the fifth season is away yet.

I liked the show in every form and it is always a full fledge entertainment and a stress releasing therapy for me whenever I watch it. For gossip seekers, it definitely serves as their cup of tea.

Desperate Housewives season 4 finale ‘The Gun Song’ was one of the very best episodes aired during this season. What an interesting episode it was??? Have you skipped it? Don’t worry, I am here to tell you what, when, why, how happened on ‘The Gun Song’.

The episode opens with Lynette who’s busy in making breakfast for kids. She’s preparing waffles, Kayla’s favorite, just to do something nice for her. A knock sounds at door and the person on the door explains that Kayla’s doc has reported that she’s being abused. Lynette tries to defend herself but CPS people do have a tape of Lynette slapping her. Lynette says that she can strangle Kayla but Tom explains that it may cost their other children.

Kayla has a burn on her arm. Lynette argues with Tom why he’s hiding the truth. Tom says that he knows there’s a problem but still she is their daughter. I think Lynette is also right as this daughter is harming other members of the family. Finally, Tom and Lynette say goodbye to Kayla and she gets in her grandparent’s car.

On the other hand, Susan and Mike are looking for a nice name and they decide on Conner. Susan doesn’t want the kid to go through school with this name and is in quest to change new babe’s name. Now, this is Solis’ House. Ellie wants Gabby to go somewhere with her but Gabby refuses. Gabrielle forms a strong relation with Ellie, the new tenant. Bree and Katherine do some shooting. The last few minute of the episodes take us 5 years ahead in future. All the women are having their weekly game; Bree is successful and is still with Orson. Finally, Susan comes back home and kisses a guy which is not Mike, No, he’s really not Mike.

Happy Birthday Zane Huett!

Zane is playing Parker Scavo on Desperate Housewives and is one of my favorite characters on series. Parker is the youngest son of Lynette Scavo and Tom Scavo.

Zane decided be a TV star only when he was at 3. He begun performing on stage and got an agent before his fourth birthday. Zane appeared in several feature films and commercials including ‘Daddy Day Care’ and ‘Mysterious Skin’.

Zane Huett is very well known for his role on Desperate Housewives. His interests are baseball, basketball, dirt bikes, music and yeah, he does have a great sense of humor. Click here to watch him on Desperate Housewives.

Initially, I was not used to watch Desperate Housewives but my mom is watching the series right from its beginning. The episode which I watched for the first time was ‘You could drive a person crazy’. This episode was aired on 10-2-2005 and I didn’t miss any episode after that day, till today.

This episode was from season 2, and you even can’t imagine, it made me to watch all the previous episodes…how much excited I was to watch season 1. With this episode, I enjoyed Lynette’s quest for answers and her thrust to find out which religion is best for her. Speaking of Lynette’s storyline, I would say that it looked like a secondary storyline. I also liked Lynette’s interactions with Bree.

Rumors are again here that one of the main Housewives is leaving the show. It was good to see Gaby and Carlos together however their love/hate relationship is somehow getting bore. During the episode, we also have a glance of the note and a back story for Katherine.

Well, I’m not too sure that Wayne is the one who got buried in the woods but I think he is. I do have confusion: I think Dylan is not Dylan and Katherine left Wisteria Lane because real Dylan is died. She might have kidnapped a baby who looks like Dylan and she raised him. Because of the resemblance between Dylan and fake Dylan, everyone is suspicious.

I’m waiting for the upcoming episodes which will explore more secrets and especially the two-tour finale that will definitely reveal Katherine’s secrets. Are you ready for that? Yeah, I’m. I’ll catch you later with latest about Desperate Housewives episodes.
