Nicollette Sheridan is a British born American actress. Among her acting credits are soap operas, movies and television shows. Her mother, Sally Sheridan is a British actress and has Indian Punjabi ancestry. Her biological father has never been identified but she thinks that actor Telly Savalas, her mother’s late ex boyfriend may be her father. If it’s true, she has a half brother Nick Savalas. She joined school at Millfield in Somerset. In 1973, she immigrated to the United States.

Making the debut of her acting career was her performance on ‘Paper Dolls’. Her first biggest appearance was as Paige Matheson on the CBS nighttime soap ‘Knots Landing’. And, this was the role which brought him the 1990 Soap Opera Digest Award for “Outstanding Lead Actress: Prime Time” and the 1991 Soap Opera Digest Award for “Outstanding Heroine: Prime Time”. She became one of the ‘50 Most Beautiful People’, named by People Magazine, in the same year.

Nicollette Sheridan has also appeared in innumerous made of TV movies such as ‘Spy Hard’ and ‘Beverly Hills Ninja. She also auditioned for the role of Grace Adler on ‘Will & Grace’ but got a guest role instead. Throughout her acting career, she had given a nude scene only on the low budget movie ‘Raw Nerve’ in 1999.

Year 2004 proved to be a very successful one for Nicollette Sheridan when she got a role on ‘Desperate Housewives‘ as sexy divorcee Edie Britt. In 2005, Nicollette received a nomination for Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress. She appeared on #48 on Maxim’s 2006 list and was also listed as the ‘worst dressed’ one by Mr. Blackwell in 2004.

Nicollette Sheridan dated the teen-idol Leif Garrett from 1979 to 1985. Later, she married Harry Hamlin, an actor, on September 7, 1991 and their relation came to an end in 1993. She next got engaged to Nicklas Söderblom, a Swedish personal trainer. Their breakup resulted in her reconciliation with her ex boyfriend Michael Bolton. In 2006, they both sang a duet titled The Second Time Around and the name of the album was Bolton Swings Sinatra. And, in 2008, she posed nude for a London Fog charity ad also featuring her fiancé Michael Bolton. Rumors are they have broken their relationship.
